I've heard some people's children find these plugs a challenge and go around trying to pry these out of the outlets. For my kids, they were a successful deterrent. I put them in six years ago. For the outlets we use regularly, we've pretty much taken them off, but some still remain in place today. Throughout all those years, the kids have had no desire to pull out the plugs, although we've had a few instances where the children tried to play with unprotected outlets. Even after the kids learned how to pull the plugs out, they did not have much desire to do so. I would have to label these a successful childproofing aid in our house.

The old saying, "you get what you pay for" still holds true.

The product arrived in a timely fashion and was packed well enough, but the quality of manufacturing left much to be desired. The rivets used to hold the flimsy structure together popped out upon first use because of inferior materials and craftsmanship; a clear result of no QC.

I'm accustomed to expecting nothing more than "Cha Bu Duo" (good enough) for goods that come out of this communist country. This is especially troubling because the reflective triangle is supposed to be a "safety" device.

The lesson to be learned is that cheap goods from mainland China come at a hefty price. Save yourself some headaches and buy Made in USA.

This product in inexpensive and if you are in Babies R Us (like I was) this is one of the only options you have aside from logo-emblazoned scroll sun shades. It's inexpensive, yes, but it's also not a good product. It sticks the first time and can briefly be readjusted, but after a week or month it won't work any longer even wiih water, he, etc. I don't know what to recommend, but this isn't ot.
