It's as promised, a little on the thin side, but you get used to that. I think next time I'll spring for a thicker one, though.

It's heavier than a PVC mat but cleans easier. I have it for a couple of months and it's working great to practice Bikram Yoga with. I didn't care about the magazine subscription, and got a $7 rebate instead.

Thinner than the mat I use at home but the lighter weight makes it easy to carry with me when I go to class. It has good traction, especially compared to other "green" mats I have tried in the past. And much better than a PVC mat.

I am a Yoga Teacher. I am picky about yoga mats. This mat was such a let-down. Two minutes into a class, I was sliding all over the place on this mat, and this wasn't a particularly sweaty class. I eventually just folded it up and practiced on the bare floor. Do not waste your money on this product. If you buy it, you will need a towel or "Yogitoes."
